Wild and Scenic Rogue

We met up friday morning at the graves creek put-in, It was a nice sunny warm day to start our 3 day trip down the river. Ron , Russell and Eddie the dog carried our gear in the support rafts. Steve, Kipper, Jason, Scott and I would be in our kayaks. We ended up paddling 19 miles on the first day down to

mule creek below the rogue river ranch for our first nights camp. We walked up to check out the ranch, unfortunately the museum isn't open yet, the history behind it very interesting. The second day we paddled down the Brushy bar and set camp up, there's nothing like a nice cold Ashland brewed beer after a hard day's paddle. We hiked up the trail to brushy bar cabin a couple hundred yards from camp to take a look, It's a neat little cabin. The paddle out is what I would call alot of exercise I was looking forward to getting to the takeout after awhile. It's a beautiful place if you ever have the chance to take the journey, take it.
